	El Rugir del Kimbo

1966 年出生於西班牙 Valencia 郡的 Ferrer Ferran ，自十五歲開始即以獨奏鋼琴家的身份參與各地的音樂會。爾後進入英國皇家音樂院 ( Royal School of Music ) 求學，並取得作曲與管樂指揮文憑。返國後，擔任西班牙 Valencia 音樂院專任作曲教授，並兼任 Banda Primitiva de Paiporta 及 Banda de la Asociacion Cultural Allegro 樂團指導至今。

這張由 Iber Musica 於 2008 年發行的作品集，共收錄以非洲奇里馬扎羅山 ( Mount Kilimanjaro ) 為素材所創作的第二號小交響曲「 El Rugir del Kimbo 」及以流行音形式創作的薩克斯風協奏曲「 Redsaxman 」等八首新作。

特別推薦為童聲合唱團與管樂團所創作的「 La Escala Sido 」。以 Bb 大調音階唱名為詞創作，全曲洋溢著天真爛漫的快樂氣氛，是一部有極佳演出效果的作品。
